Sunrise Seniors Place, as a Regional entity strives to help as many Seniors as possible by:
- Remaining financially stable and affordable while simultaniously preparing for future growth
- Taking advantage of available opportunities while continuing to expand our scope of services
- Promoting a safe & secure living enviornment
- Becoming an organizational role model and leader for others to aspire to

Our Mission: Sunrise Place Co-op
We are dedicated to providing low-cost housing exclusively for the aged.
What is a Co-op? Co-ops are governed by the people who live there called Members, and make important decisions about what happens in the co-op. Members are encouraged to contribute some of their talent to the co-op to make it a healthy and safe environment to live
Our Vision
Today’s active older adults are redefining quality of life and healthy aging. We will continue to support the well-being of older adults through active learning and social interaction, while encouraging independent living.
At Sunrise, we firmly believe that quality housing and services should be available to everyone.
Falling under the affordable housing umbrella and with funding support from the Region of Durham, the Sunrise Seniors Community is able to provide safe housing at affordable rates to people who may need assistance with meeting the financial challenges of day-to-day living.
